DiscoveringChrist
(the first in the 3-part ChristLife series)
is coming to Sacred Heart

ChristLife is a three-part series:

  • DiscoveringChrist:  In seven sessions plus a day retreat, we’ll reflect on life’s big questions. Answers from the Gospel help to set the stage for a personal encounter with Christ.  Faith comes alive for those who journey through these 7 weeks!
  • FollowingChrist: After hearing the Gospel, the next step is to follow Jesus as a Catholic disciple. These sessions teach participants about daily prayer, the Sacraments, forgiveness and more.
  • Sharing Christ: Everyone’s called to share the Good News. Participants learn about Jesus’ Great Commission, and get practical tools and encouragement to lead others to Him. This is how our Church grows!

In the DiscoveringChrist component of ChristLife, here’s what each week looks like:

Meal:  The meal is your time to get to know one another by fostering relationships and grow in friendship.

 Prayer: As a group we’ll begin with a song/hymn or two – followed by a period of prayer.

 Videos: Each week we’ll watch a ChristLife video, focusing on a different dynamic of faith each week.
christlife DC smallgroups
 Small Group Discussion: After watch the videos, participants will have time to discuss and share.

DiscoveringChrist sessions typically begin promptly at 6:15pm and will conclude by 8:30pm; typically there is also a Saturday retreat sometime during the 7-week series.  To express interest in participating in the next DiscoveringChrist series, please complete the form below.
